The Advocate’s Quandary Was in a Quandary!

Hi,

There was a glitch in the Kindle version of The Advocate’s Quandary. It was corrected by around 10:30 a.m. PST the day of release. So, if you received a free Kindle copy through the Goodreads giveaway, or you pre-ordered a copy, you may have gotten one with some chapters out of order. If your copy was uploaded after the fix, you should have the corrected copy.

However, you should check to make sure. It’s easy to check, just go to Chapter 15 and see how it starts. It should read:

Thursday late afternoon

It was quiet in Sabre’s office.

If it does, your book SHOULD be correct! I say “should” because I’ve been told “when working with digital copy, these things can happen.” I promise you, I’ll do my best to not ever let it happen again. Amazon has been very gracious about fixing it.

For some, just rebooting their machine took care of the problem. If not, this should work:

1. Log into your Amazon account

2. Under the Account & Lists menu (at the top of the screen), select Content Library, then Books
3. Scroll down to The Advocate’s Quandary and select the Deliver or Remove from Device.
4. Unclick all devices the book had been downloaded to and select Make Changes.
5. Then a few minutes later, select Deliver or Remove from Device, select the devices you want to download the book to and select Make Changes.
The new version should be downloaded to all the devices you selected.

As an FYI, You may need to delete the original downloaded version from your Kindle app before the new version will download.

Please let me know if this works for you. You can contact me at teewriter@gmail.com if you still have an issue and I’ll make sure it’s corrected.

Teresa
