Will You Be My Beta Reader? Happy Belated Valentine’s Day!

Joke for the week:

Hi!

I have room for about 3 more beta readers if anyone is interested. The advantage to you is you get to read the next book before it goes into print. There is a whole process, so if you think you might be interested, let me know and I will send you an email with what you would need to do. Then you could decide if it’s for you. Just hit reply and let me know if you’re interested.

Just so you know, this email was supposed to go out on Friday, but for some reason it didn’t work. So, I’m a little late on the Valentine wishes, but they are still heartfelt.

Happy belated Valentine’s Day! Did you do anything special this Valentine’s Day?

Happy reading!

When & Where Does Tuper Interact With The Advocate?

JPism of the week:

Hi,

I’ve had many of you ask me what order to read the books in. As most of you know The Advocate Series is written in alphabetical order, so that’s easy. In Book 6, you meet Tuper who has his own series. However, they follow the same time line as The Advocate Series and some of the characters cross over.

Many of you have been with me a long time and read them as they were released so you already followed the time line.

For those of you who are newer to the series, you may want to slip the Tuper Series in as you move through The Advocate Series. So, I’ve listed them in order below. I hope this helps.

Off To A Great Start!

JPism for the week:

Hi,

Happy New Year! I know I’m a little late, but it’s still January, so it counts. I hope you have the best year ever. I know I plan to.

I’ve started working on the next book. It’s moving along pretty well. I haven’t picked the title yet, so there’s still time to get your “T” word in.

I always write down my “resolutions” for the year. Do you have anything special you want to accomplish this year?

Happy reading!

Description:

A cold spring day brings murder to the Oregon coast. No one is safe—and someone dear to Logan may be the next to fall.

What starts as a peaceful run on the Oregon coast with her rescue dog Dixon, turns into a nightmare when Logan McKenna stumbles upon a shocking murder at a local dog training camp. The victim is a stranger, but Logan’s new friend, Oletta Hartley—the camp’s owner and skilled dog and horse trainer—becomes the prime suspect. Determined to clear Oletta’s name, Logan delves into a tangled web of lies where everyone has something to hide—and a reason for murder.

As Logan digs deeper, she uncovers the Hartleys’ connection to a dangerous Jersey mob boss, unknowingly putting herself and her family in the killer’s sights. Never has Logan encountered an adversary so ruthless or expertly concealed. With her daughter and young grandson now in the crosshairs, Logan must expose the truth before time runs out. But this time, the killer seems to always be one step ahead. . .

In this gripping tenth installment of the best-selling Logan McKenna Mystery series, Logan must look and look again to find the real killer, before everything she loves is torn away forever.

If you like Kendra Elliot, Nevada Barr, J.A. Jance, J.D. Robb, Sue Grafton, Michael Connelly, Elly Griffiths, or James Patterson, you will love fiercely independent and loyal Logan McKenna! Each book in this series can be read as a standalone.

“S” Word and Beyond Burrell

Joke for the Week:

Hi,

The Advocate’s S____________! I have the plot idea. I’ve started the writing–at home in San Diego. It feels good to be home for a bit. I have the first 2000 words done, so I’m off and running.

I haven’t settled on a title yet, so if you haven’t already submitted your “S” word. There’s still time.
